Alison Tipping, who runs CommDirect
has 20 years' experience in public relations.
She has worked in a range of manufacturing industries and in the
public service and government sectors both in the UK and abroad.

Alison has worked on the communications side, in-house, for two
major companies as part of the teams dealing with take-overs, mergers,
and privatisations. She has also been involved in business start-ups.
Alison is bilingual in French, speaks good German, reasonable Danish
and has a good working knowledge of Spanish and Dutch.
Before returning to the UK to set up CommDirect,
Alison's previous in-house role was based in Paris as International
Corporate Communications Manager for Suez Lyonnaise des Eaux (nearly
220,000 employees and a turnover of US$ 40 billion). She has also
worked for Northumbrian Water Group, the Central Office of Information
(the British government's press office), Komatsu UK Ltd (Japanese,
earth-moving equipment manufacturer - start-up), Indy Electronics
(American wire-bonding plant in Scotland - start-up), Hyster Ltd
(American fork-lift truck manufacturer), the World Health Organization
(Denmark) and the French government.
